Our materials

Why molybdenum and tungsten?

Powder

Because the refractory metals molybdenum and tungsten exhibit certain properties that other materials can barely come close to or can't even match at all:

  • High melting point
  • High density
  • Low vapor pressure
  • High-temperature stability
  • High thermal conductivity
  • High corrosion resistance
