We process refractory metals such as molybdenum and tungsten to produce high-precision collimators for X-ray detectors. These filter scattered radiation from the ray cone, thereby significantly increasing the image quality. Our materials are perfect for this task thanks to their excellent absorption capacity.

Our shieldings made of tungsten, molybdenum, and the tungsten heavy-metal alloy Densimet® only let the radiation through where it is actually needed. They therefore provide maximum protection for humans and the environment. Our materials satisfy RoHS criteria (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and represent an alternative to components containing lead.
